The LTCF scholarship program makes our community stronger.

Scholarships administered by the Leelanau Township Community Foundation reward the achievement of our future community leaders. Some scholarships focus on a particular field of study; others reward overall academic efforts. Since the first scholarship was awarded in 1992, local students have received hundreds of thousands of dollars to help them pay for college.

The Foundation accepts scholarship applications between early March and the end of April each year, with the exception of the Northport Promise Scholarship. Application information about the Northport Promise Scholarship can be found on The Northport Promise website.

Some scholarships require applicants to show financial need in order to receive assistance. Students who need financial aid for college should complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which can be found by visiting https://fafsa.ed.gov/.
